Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania

March 11th is a special day for Lithuania as it marks the Re-establishment of Independence in 1990. It opened a new page in Lithuania`s history after the fifty-year long occupation and annexation by the soviet powers. Over 30 years later, the world is witnessing the horrors of unjust occupation by the same powers yet again and, as history shows, it is only a matter of time until the desire for freedom and sovereignty prevails.
